My heart goes out to the family of Kenneth. I did not know this kid but a young life was taken to soon. I am sure the community's are hurting also. God will help you through the next days and he will keep Kenneth watching over you as your life moves forward. Prayers are going out to you and your family.

Feeling people throughout the world grieve with you. Please except the love and condolences of a stranger for your tragic loss. 50 years ago, had I been subjected to the homophobic bullying that Kenny was subjected to, there is no doubt that I would have ended my life also. How many more must die? What a tragedy. I am so sorry for your family.

As a gay man who grew up in Iowa, it tears at my heart to know that young people like Kenneth are still subjected to such abuse and pain - in this day and age, and right here at home. May it comfort you to know that people all across Iowa, and across the country, share in your loss and sorrow. And may Kenneth now be embraced by the peace and love that he so deserves.

To the family and friends of Kenneth Weishuhn Jr.

Please accept our deepest condolences on Kenneth's passing. May someone open the eyes and the hearts of all who haved harmed him; and may justice prevail.

Being a native of Iowa it breaks our hearts to know that the many great people of Iowa are tarnished by the actions of a few.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
