GLORIA E. STUEGELMEIER 

   Gloria Elisa Margaretta Stuegelmeier, the daughter of Fritz Henry and Emma Rowena Thoms Meyer was born June 30, 1932 in Cherokee County, Iowa. She attended school in Calumet and O’Brien Country School #6 before moving to Paullina to finish school and graduated from Paullina High School in 1951. She was employed at the O’Brien County Treasurers Office for seven years. On February 19, 1956, she was united in marriage to Herbert Stuegelmeier at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. After their marriage the couple lived in the Paullina area where Gloria worked as a bookkeeper for Lenz Manufacturing and Hy Vigor Seeds. For 25 years she was employed by K-Products which later became American Identity before her retirement in 2008. Her husband preceded her in death on January 24, 2012 in Sanborn, Iowa. Gloria remained in Paullina and passed away at her home on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 reaching the age of 83 years, 4 months and 4 days.
   She enjoyed crafts, gardening, playing cards and dancing.
     Gloria is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Lynnette and Leroy Hedinger of Gaza, Iowa and Lesa and Joe Ocker of Frost, Minnesota; two grandchildren Amanda and Aaron Ocker; also other relatives and friends.
     She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
